My husband and I are from Chicagoland and enjoy visiting St Louis for weekends away, concerts and barbecue! I think I learned of Cementland after researching the City Museum. We've visited Cementland 2 or 3 times and hope to be able to see it at least one more time. Last time we visited,  we made it to the top of one of the buildings by climbing a winding rusty staircase up. There were 3 other people already up there with a dog! I have no idea how the dog climbed those stairs... On the way down, my husband slipped and fell through a gap where a stair was missing and caught himself halfway through. I saw his cell phone fall from his pocket, flipping over and over in the air. Unbelievably, it landed face up and flat on top of a grate above water. He gashed his leg while falling, but I had brought a first aid kit with this time after seeing all the rusty metal and broken glass.
